The Georgia Student Finance Commission, which was established in 1965, has grown to become one of the most effective state student aid programs in the country. Initially established to give loans, the organization later expanded to include state and lottery funding for grants, scholarships, service cancelable loan programs, and free financial assistance counseling. The goal of GSFC is to give Georgians the chance to continue their education after high school.

Zell Miller Scholarship Requirements
- Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or meet the eligible Non-U.S. citizen requirements.
