The Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) program, Funded by the U.S. Department of State, provides scholarships for Secondary School Students from Pakistan to spend 1 year in the United States. This is a Fully Funded International Scholarships. YES, Youth Exchange and Study Program are only for Pakistani Students.
Every High School Going Student from Pakistan can apply. The participants should be in class 9th & 10th. The Deadline is 15 Sept 2021. Round Airfare Tickets from your nearest hub to the USA, Visa, Accommodation in USA, Monthly Stipend will be provided to participants by ECA.

Eligibility Criteria
- This is a youth exchange program for Pakistani students.
- Secondary school students in their home country (Pakistan) enrolled in 9th or 10th grade or ‘O’ Levels students are eligible to apply for an exchange program for High School students.
- O’ Level 11th graders are not eligible)
- Minimum 60% marks in all major/core subjects (English, Mathematics, Sciences) in the last class attended; an overall minimum average of 60% marks for the past three years. (Students with a gap year or a repeated year are not eligible.)
- Can communicate in English.
- Must not have traveled to the United States.
Students who meet the following in addition to the above criteria are likely to be shortlisted for the final round of selection of YES Youth Exchange and Study Program
- Pass Entry Test.
- Demonstrate maturity good character and scholastic aptitude.
- Willingness to participate in the host family’s daily life.
- Should promote cross-cultural understanding.
- Agreement to attend classes as a full-time student and maintain at least a ‘B’ Grade average in an American high school.
- Know and practice Pakistani culture and values, and able to represent the same in the U.S. schools and communities.
- Meet U.S. J-1 visa eligibility requirements (for instance, the U.S. citizens are not eligible for J-1 visas)
