1. The Łukasiewicz Scholarship Programme
The primary aim of the Lukasiewicz scholarship program is to support the growth of other developing countries by raising the level of education of their citizens. It is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange and targeted at the following countries Angola, Ethiopia, Philippines, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Colombia, Lebanon, Mexico, Myanmar, Nigeria, Palestine, Peru, South Africa, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda, Vietnam. 2. Polish Government POLONISTA
The program is addressed to students of Polish philology, Polish studies, or Polish programs implemented among others as part of Slavic studies (in the field of Polish language, Polish culture, and knowledge about Poland) as well as to scientists from foreign universities and scientific institutions.
The objective of the Program is to promote the Polish language in the world by enabling foreigners interested in the Polish language and Polish culture to study or carry out research projects in Poland.
The University of Warsaw scholarships are awarded to the best scholars in terms of academic excellence and performance, the duration of the scholarship for only a year but in some cases, a student may apply for the scholarship every year if he or she meets all the necessary and needed requirements, one of the major requirement is to have an average score of 4.00 or greater other requirements may include a resident permits, are migrant workers with citizenship of EU member state, Switzerland, European Free Trade Association (EFTA) member state, or European Economic Area (EEA) member state.
